South of the Ferry Building on the Embarcadero, this is a terrific place to go on a sunny day. Get a burger, on a sourdough roll with mustard and onion, sit on the back deck and enjoy. There is a full bar and on Giant's days it's a first stop for many fans. But, since it has food it is also kid friendly. This is very much a lunch/happy hour spot (they serve breakfast, but I haven't eaten it) since they close at 5:30/6:30. I would go here with visitors as well as other SF residents.
