We were up in Mendocino country for a few nights and really were looking for a convenient restaurant not to far from the Harbor House. The restaurant and bar were a discovery of their own. The food was great - highly recommend the Whole Local Rock Cod speciality. It's very memorable! We ended up closing down the bar with the staff and having a great time hanging out with them.
